Meet the Ferris Family

The Ferris family proudly opened their doors, as Ferris Office Furnishings, Inc., in August of 1978 to serve the community as a premiere, local office supply and furnishing source located in the heart of downtown Shreveport.

From the start, Steve Ferris was right by his father’s (Joe Ferris) side. Steve started his career by building a customer base, visiting them weekly to take their supply orders and filling the orders from stock. His career has developed in many avenues over the last several decades.

Along the way, the operation has continued to be family operated as Steve’s wife, Lynn, serves as owner of Ferris OfficeSmart, LLC, and his daughter, Stephanie (Ferris) Foster, and son-in-law, Tommy Foster serve as the third generation to carry on the family business.
